Today, I am very happy to stand here and give a short speech. The topic of my speech is "My Dream."

As a student in the first year of junior high school, I have many dreams. But the most important one is to become a doctor in the future. Why do I want to be a doctor? Because I think doctors can save people's lives and help others. They are like heroes in our society.

I remember when I was a child, my grandmother was sick for a long time. I saw how worried my parents were and how kind the doctors were. That made me feel that being a doctor is a very meaningful job. Since then, I have decided to study hard and work towards this dream.

Of course, becoming a doctor is not easy. It needs a lot of knowledge and effort. I know that I need to learn more subjects, especially science and English. I also need to practice my speaking and writing skills so that I can communicate well with patients in the future.

In addition to studying, I also like to read books about medicine. I think reading helps me understand more about the human body and diseases. I hope one day I can use what I have learned to help others.
